New year nails art

Hei and a happy coming new year!🤗

I got my nails ready for new year already! I got this amazing nail art set along with these nail art stickers from Santa😉 and had to open it right away ofcourse.

I used the black nailpolish and added a silver sticker/decoration onto my thumbnails and middle fingers' nails. The rest of the nails I decorated with the sparkly silver glitter by brushing some onto the tips with the little brush. 💅 (the see-through nailpolish as the glue)

The glitter and decorations now stand out because of the black nailpolish, kinda like fireworks stand out in the night sky❣ 😊🎆
*I also already picked out my new years perfume, Police 😁

Christmas nails🎄💅

This week I made Christmas nails for myself by just using the polishes I have and drawing a christmas tree and mistletoe.

 I used a funny tool for the drawing but atleast it worked, I used a plastic toothpick!😁 The toothpick was thin enough to fit in the nailpolish bottles and it was easy to draw with. (Picture below)

Drawing onto the nails was easy when drawing with my right hand but then when it was my right hands turn to be drawn on, it took a while to get a good grip. But the nailart  turnout well  and I got to say I was positively surprised.

Dont be afraid to try something new.  😊 There is no need to think that you always need to have fancy nailart tools sold in shops, sometimes you can find the right tools from home.

I also used star nailart decorations on my trees and then on some of the blanc white nails I added some sparkle. 💅

I ❤shine, Depend nailpolish

This time I wanted to post about Depend nailpolish as yesterday I found a sparkly color I really like.
The Depend bottles are cute and small but the quality is really good(don't let the size fool you). In my opinion Depend nailpolish doesn't dry up or get thick quickly like some nailpolishes. The brush is a good size and it is easy to paint your nails quickly without creating a mess.

The Depend nailpolishes I have in use at the moment are(all create a really bright color when 2 coats are applied):

The sparkling silver looks beautiful and glamorous, especially when you add the two coats! 😍

Another new Depend nailpolish of mine is this one below. (Depend 02) 👌 Beautiful. Shiny. Winter color. 

 

I need to buy more of these sparkling ones....I already have my eye on some which I want to buy (there are different colored sparky nailpolishes) 😉

Finland 100 years nails

Happy 100 yr Independence day Finland!!

Today's an important day for all Finns and that's why my nails are blue and white like our flag! 😊🇫🇮

(In the picture also a beautiful Finland 100 years medal from Suomen Moneta!


Process: Used a sponge yet again to get a nice divide of blue and white. Had to add a lot of nailpolish onto the sponge and press the sponge over the nails several times to get a deep and nice color.

+ I did my nails again late in the evening so this time I used this thick tape to cover atleast most of the skin around the nails.

I've been really obsessed with the new nail art glitters I ordered as I love the shine they bring!😍

I've been trying different colors with different glitters. (My earlier attempts below)

I said attempts because I thought they looked cool but not as good as they could and not as awesome as what I accomplished now!! I used 3 different colored glitters with black nail polish and now they look really cool!! 😍 the glitters properly stand out and almost look like gems!

You gotta test and test till you find out what work😉

Sparkling glamor nails💎

This week I used some nailart sparkles with a really nice green nailpolish and got really sparkly "glamor nails" as I like to call it! 😀

Heres the color with inside lighting!

I painted my nails(with the nailpolish in the picture below) and then added some see-through nailpolish (to act as a glue for the sparkles) and then I added two different shades of sparkles. I then ofcourse added a top coat of see-through nailpolish to protect the sparkles.

Now they shine bright like a diamond😉 and in my opinion look glamorous!

Halloween nails

It was Halloween yesterday and so I decided to make nice Halloween nails couple days before. I had these really cool Halloween nail stickers but as they were much longer than my nails I decided to just cut out the pumpkins and ghosts/skeletons.

I first used an orange nailpolish as I think orange is the color of Halloween and then I added the cut up stickers as decorations. (+ lastly see through nailpolish to protect the stickers)

Then there you have it, fun and simple Halloween nails! 🎃😊

Winter "icy" nails

Still been painting my nails often though and been trying new nailpolish colors and techniques that I will post about later. 😊

This post is about winter coming and how I wanted to have nails resembling the icy weather.
White symbolizing the snow and blue lines coming down from the tips like ice picks. ❄🌨

Shine powder that makes yor nails shine beautifully

So another cool nail art accessory I bought was this cool nail glitter that shines in different ways in different light!
Below you can see an example of this. From far away it looks white but it has some pink shine which can be seen in the photo. Look how different it looks with flash!

I bought different shades of this glitter and this pink shade was my first try.

As seen above I chose this nice neon pink nailpolish color and then applied this pink shine to my nails and it really made a difference!😊 I think they now look extra pretty with this cool shine!

Nail art shine powder

I ordered all kinds of new nail art things from online and now I have awesome new nail art techniques to share! :)

I started with this nail art powder which creates this almost reflection type shine on your nails! I first tried this gold nail art powder which made my normal yellow nails look goldish. This you can see below.

I then tried this blueish powder. I painted my nails with black nail polish and then I applied the powder(several layers). First I thought it wasn't going to work but then after applying more and more of the powder onto my nails, my nails became more and more blue and shiny!

A big thanks to the internet and the nail art videos already there because there were some hints on how to use the  shine powder.

Nail foil glamor

I finally tried something new and really cool again! I used golden nail foil and ripped it into pieces creating a really nice effect, especially with black nail polish!

I applied the black nailpolish and then I added see-through nail polish(to work as the glue). Then I applied the small pieces of gold nail foils onto the nails! 😊

Random details to make nails stand out😀

So the past two weeks I haven't had any ready made ideas for my nails. I have started painting my nails and then I've added random designs to make them stand out.

Here for example I used a nice golish nail polish and painted white leaves onto some nails.

Then here I used a basic black nailpolish but then went crazy with these random line designs using silver and white which nicely contrast.

Night sky nails

Since it's soon midsummer I wanted to make really nice nails for myself. I started doing my nails in the evening and thought about making nails looking like the night sky.

I used a beautiful blue nailpolish I have  and then added see-through nailpolish. Then I sprinkled some glitter to look like little stars and added some star shaped nail art decorations! 

Purple nails 💜

So this time I painted my nails with a nice new purple nailpolish I found.
I've noticed how it's popular and quite cute to have one nail look different then the rest so I painted one nail differently from the rest.

I used a different shade of purple and added some extra details to make the nail stand out! 😊

Yellow nails with black sunlight lines

So this time I just wanted to make really bright nails with something to make them stand out.
I chose to paint my nails bright yellow and add black lines onto them looking like a little firework or sunlight.

Pink party nails🍾

So last week I was on holiday so I had a party feeling and therefore decided to make cheerful pink party nails!

I used the old usual sponge technique;adding sparklikg pink and normal pink nail polish onto a sponge and pressing the colors onto my nails with the sponge. As the colors were light it required the process of adding color to the sponge and pressing it down several times.

Colorful nail art decorations

This time I wanted to post about nail decorations. 

I did one pair of nails using colorful nail beads seen below.  I painted my nails pink and added the beads using see-through nail polish as a glue. I ended up having candy-like nails.😊




I also then used beads like these to add some extra to my green nails. I also painted one nail brighter than the rest to make it stand out. 😊
